Investors trimmed bearish bets on most Asian currencies as the dollar weakened on hopes of a delay to Fed tapering, according to a Reuters poll of 10 respondents. Bearish bets on the ringgit, peso and baht were largely cut.
The dollar had eased 0.4% over two weeks after slipping from a nine-month high.
Reduced bearish positioning signals less pressure on Asian currencies against the dollar, lowering the local-currency cost of imported feed ingredients.
