The July 2021 Federal Milk Marketing Order Class III price was $16.49 per cwt, down 72 cents from June, and the Class IV price was $16.00, down 35 cents. Lower cheese and butter prices drove both declines, and the gap between the two classes narrowed.
Lower Class III and IV prices reduce dairy farm income and suggest softer milk values, a mildly bearish signal for dairy-linked feed demand.
