FranceAgriMer raised its forecast for French soft wheat stocks at the end of the 2023/24 season to 3.50 million tonnes, a 19-year high and 37% above last season. Intra-EU exports were trimmed as cheaper Ukrainian grain competes in Spain and Italy.
Large French stocks and lost EU export share are bearish for wheat export prices and reinforce ample feed grain supply in Europe.
