The April 2024 WASDE cut U.S. corn ending stocks by 50 million bushels to 2.122 billion, while raising U.S. soybean ending stocks 25 million bushels to 340 million. Wheat ending stocks rose 25 million bushels to 698 million.
Global corn and bean stocks were also updated.
Higher U.S. soybean and wheat stocks are bearish for prices, while the corn stock reduction is supportive. Market participants watch these balance sheets for the season's price direction.
