A Reuters poll found the euro is expected to stay weak but avoid parity with the dollar for now. The single currency had fallen to a two-year low near $1.03 on euro zone growth concerns and expectations of more ECB rate cuts.
Expectations of continued euro weakness and further ECB easing support a stronger dollar, which tends to pressure dollar-denominated grain and oilseed prices.
