The Knox County weekly update for February 19 reported March corn up 9 cents at $4.96 and March soybeans down 13 cents at $10.36. Soybean meal fell $5.50 to $295.90 per short ton, while wheat gained, and US CPI came in hotter than expected.
Higher-than-expected inflation and a firmer dollar-linked macro backdrop can support commodity prices, while weaker soymeal reflects ample supply for feed buyers.
