Work Truck Online reports that the national average diesel price rose nearly 2 cents to $3.57 a gallon as of March 24, with four of five EIA regions higher. The price is 47 cents below a year earlier, and the West Coast averages $4.23 a gallon.
A small weekly rise in retail diesel lifts trucking costs for feed deliveries, though prices remain well below last year. The change is too small to move feed or grain markets on its own.
