China's yuan rebounded from a near two-month low against the dollar on Thursday after the PBOC set its midpoint rate at 7.1494, well firmer than market estimates. The onshore yuan recovered to about 7.19 per dollar, while the dollar stayed near a two-month high.
A firmer yuan is modestly supportive of Chinese import purchasing power for feed ingredients, but the effect on feed prices is small and the central bank is signaling stability rather than a trend.
