UK oat plantings for 2025/26 are forecast to rise about 15% to over 210,000 hectares, the highest in five years, according to AHDB figures. Processor demand and better spring varieties are also drawing growers back to the crop.
Larger UK plantings add domestic supply, which tends to weigh on oat values, though firm processor demand for food-grade oats limits the downside.
