USDA announced $1 billion in Assistance for Specialty Crop Farmers payments for specialty crops and sugar, which were not covered by the Farmer Bridge Assistance program. Producers must report 2025 acreage to FSA by March 13, 2026.
Specialty crop and sugar aid has little direct bearing on feed ingredient supply or demand, so price impact is negligible.
