FAO, WHO, WOAH and CMS published a global framework on 21 September to speed up avian influenza action. It calls for faster sharing of surveillance data and virus samples and for sustained funding, with H9N2 and H7 subtypes included.
The framework sets policy direction for surveillance and funding but carries no immediate supply or price effect on feed commodities.
