NOPA, a soybean processors' association, credits biofuels policy with lifting cash soybean prices about $1.70 per bushel year over year. It reports record June soybean processing of 214.3 million bushels, up 15%, and 839 million D4 RINs generated in June.
It also notes soybean meal prices have fallen nearly 40% over three years.
Strong crush demand supports soybean prices and soybean oil use, while rising meal output has pushed meal prices lower, a benefit for feed buyers.
