Ukraine's commodity exports rose 15% in value to $41.7 billion in 2024 and over 30% in volume to 131.2 million tonnes. The gains followed the reopening of Black Sea corridor ports in Odesa, Chernomorsk and Pivdenne, which allowed non-agricultural cargo to move again and supported EU sales of grain.
Restored Black Sea logistics keep Ukrainian grain and corn supply flowing to world markets, which adds to global supply and weighs modestly on prices.
