The EU-Ukraine Solidarity Lanes carried around 70% of Ukrainian imports and about 20% of Ukrainian grain, oilseed and related exports in March 2026, versus about 80% of those grain exports through Black Sea ports. Since May 2022 the lanes have enabled roughly 92 Mt of grain, oilseeds and related products to be exported.
The shift of grain flows toward Black Sea ports and away from the rail and road corridors shows where bottlenecks sit for Ukrainian feed grain and meal supply. Route changes shape freight costs and regional export availability more than outright world supply.
