Argentina's Economy Ministry decreed that soybean and corn export duties return to January levels from July 1, with soybeans rising from 26% to 33% and corn and sorghum from 9.5% to 12%. Wheat and barley duties stay at 9.5% until March 31, 2026.
Sunflower duties rise from 5.5% to 7%.
Higher export taxes can reduce farmer selling and export incentives, which may tighten Argentine supply of soy complex and corn and support world prices, while lower wheat and barley duties keep those exports competitive.
