Brazil's 2025/26 corn estimate was cut by 1.0 million tons to 136.0 million tons with a neutral bias. Conab reduced safrinha acreage by 200,000 hectares in its February report, and planting was 31% complete nationally with a significant share of the crop still unplanted.
A smaller Brazilian safrinha crop tightens export supply just as Brazil dominates the second-half corn export window, which supports corn prices. Further acreage cuts in the March report would add to the bullish case.
