Corn, soybean and wheat futures fell sharply after a more favorable weather forecast shifted the Corn Belt outlook, with front-month soybeans down nearly 60 cents and corn down 21 cents. Recession fears also prompted speculators to sell commodities.
Improved rainfall forecasts reduce yield risk premium, and recession concerns cut demand expectations, pushing feed grain and soymeal prices lower.
