Indonesia's rice market stayed flat in Q2 2025 despite a record domestic harvest, with consumer, wholesale and producer prices showing little change. BPS projected production up 14.49% for January to July 2025 to 21.76 million tons.
Prices remained stagnant year on year.
Strong domestic supply has not translated into lower Indonesian prices, reducing import pressure and signaling limited near-term demand for imported rice.
