India's rice exports for April-December fell 10.2% year on year to 8.46 million tonnes as Bangladesh cut purchases after a bumper local harvest. Buffalo meat exports slumped 13.3%, while pulses more than doubled and dairy exports rose 79%.
Lower Indian rice export volumes reduce demand for global rough rice and broken rice used in feed, supporting a bearish tone for rice prices. Strong pulse exports point to shifting trade flows but have little direct effect on feed grains.
