US banks’ collapse helps increase foreign exchange reserves: experts

Vietnamese experts said the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank, Signature Bank and Credit Suisse will not pose a substantial risk to Vietnam's economy. The US dollar index fell 1.3% to 103.86 after the bank failures.

Analysts expect a weaker dollar to ease pressure on the dong and help the central bank rebuild reserves.
