Provimi was founded near Rotterdam in The Netherlands in 1927, where it started up as a trading company for Dutch farmers. In the thirties it started selling a product under the acronym Provimi, a mixture of 3 basic elements in every animal feed and this is where the present name is derived from: Proteins, Vitamins and Minerals. With approximately 80 plants in 30 countries, Provimi is a world leader in animal nutrition and related know-how. With about 8,000 employees among which are 450 scientists serving our clients in all markets, Provimi is a world leader in animal nutrition solutions. Provimi India has over 500 employees on board.
