MYCOBOND

MYCOBOND® is natural product composed of Hydrated Sodium Calcium Aluminium Silicate, designed to mitigate the negative effects of mycotoxins in animals' feed or food products. Mycotoxins are toxic compounds produced by certain types of moulds or fungi that can contaminate crops, grains, and animal feed; also known an mycotoxicosis. MYCOBOND® works through electrostatic attraction to aluminium ions when mixed with feeds. It is then adsorbed or bound to the mycotoxins in the digestive system of animals, preventing them from being absorbed into the bloodstream and reducing their harmful effects. The bound mycotoxins are then safely excreted from the body.
