Wheat futures tumbled after Russia said it would resume participation in the UkraineBlack Sea grain export deal, four days after suspending it. December SRW wheat fell 56.5 cents to $8.46 and December HRW wheat dropped nearly 50 cents.
Corn followed wheat lower, while soybeans rose to a six-week high on crude oil and vegetable oil strength.
Restored Black Sea export flows ease global wheat supply concerns, pressuring wheat and corn prices. Soybean oil strength from energy and vegoil markets supports crush economics.
