Drought forces Egypt to pay most for wheat since 2015

Egypt's state buyer GASC paid $235.65 per tonne for 420,000 tonnes of wheat for September delivery, the highest price since May 2015. Drought across the Black Sea and Europe is cutting Russian output for the first time in six years.

Paris December wheat hit a contract record while Chicago futures were up about 20% this year.
