Malaysian palm oil futures posted their biggest one-day fall in over 21 months on Monday after Indonesia announced it would cut its export levy to zero from $50 a tonne. Malaysia also announced a B10 biodiesel blending revision that traders see as supportive over the longer term.
Cutting Indonesia's levy makes Indonesian palm more competitive, while the B10 mandate may add domestic biodiesel demand later, leaving the near-term price bearish.
