USDA expects record 2020/21 corn output of 15.3 billion bushels and yields above 181 bushels per acre, with average on-farm corn prices forecast at US$3.10 per bushel.
Record expected North American and global production points to softer corn and soybean prices into harvest, even though demand remains firm. Feed buyers may find cheaper corn ahead, though soybean meal values are supported by steady export demand.
