Commodity prices declined last week as the Fed raised rates 75 basis points and signaled further hawkish policy. Gold, platinum, copper and other metals fell, Brent dropped 7.5%, and US natural gas lost over 20%.
Agricultural prices also declined.
Recession fears from tighter monetary policy are dragging broad commodity prices lower, which reduces feed cost pressure in the near term but adds volatility for buyers.
