Trafigura loaded diesel onto a VLCC in the Middle East, the first bulk diesel shipment of this kind to the West in nearly a year, taking advantage of lower crude tanker rates. Houthi attacks in the Red Sea have forced vessels onto longer Cape of Good Hope routes, tightening tanker supply.
