CONICET and INTA researchers launched AgroENSO, a free tool that maps 35 years of yield data against El Niño and La Niña phases for Argentina's main field crops. Argentina's weather service puts the chance of El Niño persisting through October near 100%.
The tool helps buyers gauge how the 2026-27 Argentine crop may respond to El Niño, but it does not itself move prices.
