U.S. natgas jumps 7% as LNG exports rise, some wells shut due to cold

U.S. natural gas futures jumped about 7% after the EIA reported a 50 bcf storage draw, larger than the 45 bcf analysts expected. Gas flows to LNG export plants rose, and extreme cold froze some wells, cutting output.

Freeport LNG's restart timing remained uncertain.
