CBOT corn, wheat and soybean futures hit multi-year highs on April 22, 2021, with corn and wheat rising their daily limits. July corn traded near $6.31, wheat above $7 and soybeans above $15 a bushel.

Tight old-crop stocks and weather threats to next crops push feed grain prices higher, raising feed costs for buyers. Wheat also gains as a feed substitute when corn is expensive.
