Chicago soybeans and corn hit seven-month highs on Monday as expectations grew that drought-stressed South American harvests would shift export demand to the United States. Wheat rose on the Russia/Ukraine crisis and firm crude oil supported grains and oilseeds broadly.
Smaller South American soybean crops could push major export business to the US from June, tightening already tight US supplies and supporting feed grain and meal prices.
