Chicago soybean futures hit a three-month high as the US-China truce and a bullish USDA report helped prices recover to pre-trade-war levels. Wheat slid to lifetime lows on good US harvest prospects and bigger world and US ending stocks, while USDA's first new-crop corn inventory forecast fell short of expectations.
The tariff truce and tight USDA soybean supplies support soybean prices, while ample wheat supplies keep wheat weak and lower feed-grain alternatives less expensive.
