The dollar fell about 0.3% on Wednesday after the Federal Reserve kept rates unchanged, its steepest one-day drop since July 15. Traders also pared bets that the Fed would raise borrowing costs at its September meeting.
Reduced expectations of Fed tightening weaken the dollar, which tends to support USD-denominated commodity prices.
