Soybean futures rose toward $11.60 per bushel, the highest since July 2024, after China bought seven US cargoes for December and January delivery. The November USDA cut world soybean production by about 4.1 million tonnes and reduced global ending stocks to about 122 million tonnes.
A smaller global stocks cushion combined with Chinese buying tightens nearby supplies, supporting soybean, meal and oil prices.
