U.S. dollar hasn’t been this high in 14 years and it’s clobbering just about everybody else

The dollar surged to a near 14-year high, pushing toward parity with the euro and weakening the yen, yuan and emerging-market currencies such as the Turkish lira and Indian rupee. The move was amplified by thin Thanksgiving-holiday trading volumes.
