The EIA reported the US average retail diesel price fell 2.7 cents to $2.443 a gallon in the Nov. 14 survey, with prices lower in all regions.
Crude futures were around $45 a barrel after sliding since the presidential election.
Lower retail diesel and crude prices reduce fuel surcharges and trucking costs for feed transport, a mildly bearish cost signal for feed logistics.
