A report from research groups tracking the New York Declaration on Forests found 108 companies made 212 new forest commitments since December 2015. It says progress on implementation is mixed across palm oil, wood, cattle and soy.
Mixed implementation of deforestation pledges suggests gradual rather than abrupt changes in palm oil and soy sourcing, so the price impact is limited.
