The Export Exchange 2016 conference in Detroit, held October 24 to 26, produced reported sales of about 2.6 million metric tons of grains and co-products worth $460 million. Corn accounted for 924,500 metric tons and DDGS for 875,000 metric tons, with more than 200 international buyers attending.
Large forward sales of corn and DDGS to international buyers support US export demand and underpin prices for these feed ingredients.
