Bob Dinneen of the Renewable Fuels Association wrote that EPA's summertime fuel rules effectively bar sales of 15% ethanol blends. He called on the agency to remove the rule.
Allowing E15 summer sales would expand ethanol blending and corn demand, but the rule change is only advocated here, not enacted. The effect on prices is therefore small.
