The EU MARS crop monitoring service lowered its wheat yield forecast to 5.86 t/ha from 5.91 t/ha, and its barley and maize forecasts were also trimmed. The cuts follow dry and hot weather in June.
Rapeseed yield was raised slightly.
Lower EU wheat, barley and maize yields reduce available supply for feed use and support prices for these grains.
