The EU crop monitoring service MARS cut its soft wheat, grain maize and rapeseed yield forecasts for a third consecutive month. It warned of significant wheat quality losses after almost daily rain in north-western France, the Benelux and south-western Germany.
Quality downgrades push more wheat into feed channels and reduce EU maize yield expectations, supporting feed grain prices.
