Corn futures rallied after the September WASDE despite bearish headline changes, with USDA raising corn acres to 98.7 million and cutting yields. Soybean carryout rose to 300 million bushels while corn carryout fell 7 million bushels to 2.1 billion.
Technical strength and doubts that USDA yield estimates are too high kept corn supported, despite a larger acreage and production outlook.
