The November WASDE showed a tighter U.S. and world corn balance sheet, with corn production at 13.661 billion bushels and U.S. corn exports cut by 50 million bushels. Soybeans were little changed, and wheat supplies were described as record with strong export competition.
The analyst expects 4.5 to 5 million more corn acres to return to production next year.
Weak export demand and a possible large increase in acreage next year outweigh the tighter balance sheet, which limits corn price gains. Record wheat supplies keep wheat prices under pressure.
