Bangladesh's government approved purchases of 70,000 tonnes of fertiliser for the Aman season, including 40,000 tonnes of DAP from Morocco at $894 per tonne and 30,000 tonnes of TSP at $669.33 per tonne. DAP prices have risen since August while TSP prices have declined.
State buying adds near-term demand for DAP while TSP's lower price reflects weaker international demand for that product.
