U.S. farm groups at an Agri-Pulse forum on March 21 said the White House's aggressive tariff rhetoric threatens overseas markets, especially China. China bought about $14 billion of U.S. soybeans last year, more than a third of U.S. production.
A China trade war would hit the largest foreign outlet for U.S. soybeans, pressuring soybean and meal prices lower.
