Indonesia's palm oil and derivative exports fell to 7.84 million tons in Q1 2018 from 8.02 million a year earlier, according to GAPKI. Production rose 24% to 10.41 million tons over the same period.
Lower exports combined with a sharp production increase point to rising Indonesian stocks, which is bearish for palm oil prices.
