Soybeans rose on short covering and an unknown buyer purchase of 154,100 tons of new-crop US beans, with hopes of an EU deal opening more exports. Unknown buyers also took 270,000 tons of new-crop corn, and soymeal was mostly lower while bean oil gained.
Fresh export buying and trade-deal hopes support soybean and corn prices, while meal pressure reflects spread trading and profit-taking.
