Ukraine exported 2.3 million tons of grain and legumes in July 2018, 8% below July 2017. Corn shipments fell 19% to 704 thousand tons and barley dropped 25% to 610 thousand tons, while wheat made up 41% of exports at 960 thousand tons.
Analysts expect further declines as farmers hold back grain.
Farmer holdbacks and smaller corn and barley export availability tighten Black Sea feed grain supply, supporting prices for feed buyers.
