Ukrainian seaports shipped 31.8 million tonnes of grain for export in the first ten months of 2017. Vegetable oil exports rose 28.5% to 4.5 million tonnes.
Total cargo handled by Ukrainian ports was 109 million tonnes, up 0.6% year on year.
Strong Ukrainian grain export flows add to global wheat and corn supply, which keeps offer pressure on prices. The volume is consistent with the existing trend and is not a new shock.
